A Brief History

In former times, Glebe House was the home of the Rectors of Chaldon and is situated near the famous church. The village nestles on the top of the North Downs just outside Caterham-on-the-Hill, within five minutes drive of the M25 and M23 motorways and close to Croydon, Redhill, Oxted, and surrounding districts.

All meals are freshly prepared by our catering staff, and all special dietary needs can be arranged. Meals can be taken in the dining room, the conservatory or sitting room, or can be served in the resident's own room. An example menu is attached.

We have a visiting GP, Chiropodist, Hairdresser, Clergy, Dentist, Optician and Physiotherapist. There is a full programme of activities and events, details of which are enclosed. All laundry, including personal clothing, can be handled in our own laundry system.
